Designation: Facility Manager
Roles & Responsibilities:
Building Maintenance:
- Oversee the maintenance and functionality of building systems, including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and fire/life safety systems.
- Ensure systems comply with safety regulations and operational standards.
Operational Oversight:
- Provide expert advice on requirements for HVAC equipment, vertical transportation, roofs, electrical distribution, and other building systems.
- Make independent operational decisions within department policies and position scope.
Analysis and Reporting:
- Gather and analyze data, prepare operational reports, and assess the effectiveness of current and proposed services.
- Recommend improvements to ensure compliance with federal, state, and organizational requirements.
Resource Management:
- Guide supervisors on optimizing the distribution of custodial and general operational resources.
- Evaluate and allocate resources efficiently to maintain uninterrupted facility operations.
Team Leadership:
- Supervise and lead the facility management team to ensure a high standard of service delivery.
- Provide direction, training, and support to team members to achieve operational excellence.
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech/B.E.E) or related field.
Key Competencies:
- Strong understanding of facility management systems and compliance requirements.
- Analytical skills to assess services and recommend improvements.
- Leadership capabilities to manage teams and resources effectively.
